My favorite business marketing writer, Seth Godin, shared a post about presenting to a group that every speaker should know – no matter how long they’ve been speaking:

  1. Find just one person.
  2. Don’t memorize and don’t read.
  3. This isn’t a performance.
  4. The challenge is becoming you.

This is my favorite paragraph: “Think about the most important interactions you’ve had. The ones with partners … strangers and friends. None of them were professional speeches. Not one. Instead, a human interacted with you and made a change happen. Not because they had a script and a director, but because they cared.”

Keep showing up as you!
